Brian Cohen

Brian Cohen has a Masters Degree in Library Science which means he’s supposed to be a librarian…he’s not. Back when Brian was a mover and a shaker during the “Internet Bubble” he was a Business Development Analyst in charge of Competitive Intelligence for an Artificial Intelligence company called Webmind (a.k.a Intelligenesis). Webmind was supposed to predict the stock market and was to one day emerge as a global web of intelligence that was to transform the world. On August 4th, 1999 he bought the first T-shirt ever sold on CafePress. When his parents aren’t receiving phone calls from Microsoft, he likes to write articles on e-commerce and Bitcoin. Brian’s first article on e-commerce "Reaching eBay Global Markets with the Help of PayPal Multiple Currencies" was published by Auctionbytes in December 2002. Brian’s news breaking stories have been referenced in numerous publications including CoinDesk, Bitcoin Magazine, The Register, io9, TechCrunch, Gizmodo, Vice, The Verge and PC World. His first Bitcoin article was “How PayPal Almost Liberated Cyprus”. He can be found at bitofthis.com
